My Journey

In 2016, I discovered the art of curation through creating “sets” on Polyvore. Fashion and shopping had always been passions, but purchasing individual pieces never felt complete. I was drawn to the full vision the shoes, the dress, the accessories, and the final details crafted intentionally and without compromise. That’s when I realized my interest wasn’t just in shopping, but in storytelling, composition, and strategic vision.

I shifted from consuming to creating, blending color theory with styling to build cohesive aesthetics rather than isolated looks. What began with fashion expanded into art, interiors, beauty, and lifestyle. I learned how to curate with intention tailoring concepts to different body types, spaces, and personalities skills that eventually led me to DC Fashion Week.

On New Year’s Eve 2017, while others were celebrating, I refined my application to intern, determined to turn passion  into something tangible. As a volunteer, I thrived in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with executive directors, global designers, PR teams, and fellow creatives. Each role sharpened my adaptability, problem-solving, and ability to think holistically under pressure.

In 2020, I returned to school and earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Digital Media and Web Technology. Combined with over 14 years of experience in fashion and beauty retail, I gained a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand positioning, trends, and the operational side of creative industries.

That path wasn’t without challenges. Experiencing burnout forced me to slow down, recalibrate, and return with greater clarity and intention an inflection point that reshaped how I work and lead creatively.

 DBCC serves as a hub , where ideas are refined into cohesive strategies and built into meaningful, long-lasting brands. My work is rooted in alignment, vision, and execution. I help individuals and brands translate abstract ideas into clear, intentional systems because creativity isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about direction.
